FOR QUICK, SAFE SATCOM ACCESS
SERVICE AND REPLACEMENT
The SAS-INC 7017 wide body and 7027 narrow body maintenance stands offer a unique solution for safely and efficiently accessing the SATCOM antenna on the crown of the aircraft fuselage. They will save you maintenance time and require less overall equipment for SATCOM functions.
PROTECTED SPACE
ALLOWS CREW TO WORK EFFICIENTLY
Users appreciate the ability to work on top of the aircraft in a safe environment, fully surrounded by guardrails.
The risk of bodily harm and damage to the aircraft is significantly reduced using this work area pen on the crown of the aircraft.
Slider deck panels extend to create a walking surface fit tightly to the fuselage. There is no need to jump from the platform to the aircraft. Locks assure the sliders will not move when foot pressure or other force is applied. Aprons prevent falling tools or equipment.
The large and symmetrical work area allows access to those hard-to-reach antennas from either side of the aircraft.
SAVE FOOTPRINT
MANEUVER IN TIGHT QUARTERS
Your hangar space is precious. Technicians and managers value the ability to use this stand inside the hangar, requiring minimal floor space. Because of its easy maneuverability, additional equipment and tows are not needed.
This stand is designed to be self-sufficient for indoor or outdoor operation, It can be operated as a purely stand-alone machine, with all necessary power aboard.

Placement of the stand in hard-to-reach areas is shown below. The large and symmetrical work area allows access to those hard-to-reach antennas from either side of the aircraft.
